The SE trim includes generous tech equipment, including a 12-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, four USB ports, and a wireless hotspot. You’ll also appreciate dual-zone automatic climate control and convenient keyless entry.

The base model of the Edge is also full of the latest driver assistance tech. Standard safety features include a perimeter alarm, automatic high beams, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, rear-cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning with auto emergency braking and pedestrian detection, a rearview camera, and the exclusive Ford MyKey system to set driver volume, speed, and access limits.

SEL

The cabin of the SEL trim gets an upgrade with synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. In this model, you’ll also have heated, power-adjustable front seats for both the driver and the passenger, rear parking sensors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Like the SE, the SEL received an exterior upgrade for 2023 in the form of a new silver honeycomb grille with a chrome surround.

You can customize the SEL trim with options like a heated steering wheel and a panoramic sunroof. It also has two major options packages for even more upgrades.

ST-Line

Although it picks up the features and options of the SEL trim, the ST-Line version of the Edge has a sporty look and feel all its own. In addition to styling updates both inside and out like 20-inch alloy wheels, this trim adds a power liftgate, garage door opener, remote start, a household-style power outlet, and wireless device charging.

Titanium

For a luxurious cabin, you may want to go for the Edge Titanium trim. It adds ambient interior lighting, smart windshield wipers, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, a heating steering wheel, a power-adjustable passenger seat, and driver’s seat memory settings.

ST

This top-of-the-line Edge trim gets an upgraded powertrain, which features a twin-turbo V6 with 355 hp and a seven-speed automatic. It also has a distinctive interior and exterior design, which includes real leather upholstery.

There is a lot to love about Yuba City, CA including a wide range of fun summer activities. Whether you’re looking to spend a special Saturday night with your friends or take your partner on a date, there is something in this city for you. We recommend that you hop in your 2023 Ford Explorer XLT and check out one of these three places.

1. Swim Under the Stars

On Saturdays between June 17 and August 5, you can join your neighbors and friends for Twilight Swim at Gauche Aquatic Park at 421 Center Street. This special summer event takes place from 8 to 10 PM, and you will get a glow bracelet to commemorate the experience. Besides offering the opportunity to swim at night, Twilight Swim events feature fun games and upbeat music.

2. Test Your Critical Thinking Skills

Another fun summer activity is to put your logical thinking skills to the test at NorCal Escape Co. at 3076 Colus Highway B. There are several rooms you can choose from, but we personally love The Box. It is similar to CONDEMNED2, but there are several shocking twists and turns. This may be the ideal room for you if you are a fan of horror and extreme mental challenges.

It features a difficulty rating of five out of five, and you only have 90 minutes to escape. You should note that you must have four to 10 people in your party to book this room. If you want to enjoy an exciting date night with your partner, Escape Truck may be a better fit for you. It is designed to be played by two to four people, and it only has a difficulty level of four out of five.

3. Escape the Ordinary

Another great way to beat the summer heat and take your partner on a date they won’t soon forget is to visit TITAN VRCADE and VR Escape Room at 362 North Walton Avenue Suite B. This virtual reality arcade has something for everyone, including VR laser tag and VR escape rooms.

There are also over 150 virtual reality games that you can choose from if you’re in the mood for gaming. You can choose from single-player, PVP, and co-op modes.

There are plenty of fun things you can do to pass the time in Yuba City during the summer if you have a reliable way to get there. If you feel like your current vehicle is giving you more problems than it is worth, visit us at Geweke Ford to check out our inventory and get yourself into the ideal vehicle for you.

The 2023 Ford Explorer is the latest edition of a familiar fan favorite, and it’s generated quite a buzz because of its many impressive features. From its jaw-dropping engine performance on and off-road to its spacious cabin and cutting-edge technology, this is one SUV that easily lives up to the hype. For a clearer picture of why it’s become so popular among drivers, we’ve highlighted the following five features that are sure to impress.

1. A 318-HP Hybrid Engine

While this edition of the Explorer provides plenty of impressive engine options, including a powerful 400-horsepower 3.0-liter V6, it’s the 3.3-liter hybrid V6 that has generated the most buzz. Not too many hybrid engines in SUVs nowadays can produce as much as 318 horsepower and tow up to 5,000 pounds and yet somehow do all this while still offering an estimated 28 mpg in highway mileage.

2. An Infotainment System

SYNC 3, which comes with an available 10.1-inch touchscreen, is an infotainment system that lets you pair your phone to it using Bluetooth technology. Not only can you use this system to get navigation instructions, make hands-free phone calls, or control smart home devices with its Ford+Alexa app compatibility, but listening to music through it sounds great when teaming it with the available 14-speaker B&O sound system.

3. Adaptive Cruise Control

While traditional cruise controls allow you to select a preferred speed you’d like to stay at while on highways, the Adaptive Cruise Control offered for this edition takes things a step further. After setting that speed, this system will not only keep the vehicle there when the road is clear in front of you, but it will also slow the vehicle down or completely stop if necessary and then pick up speed again when it’s safe to do so.

4. Comfortable Seating

The 2023 Explorer’s seats were all designed with opulence, comfort, and convenience in mind, whether we’re talking about those in the front row or those in the rear of the cabin. Up front, the available leather-trimmed seats offer Active Motion, which is a massaging feature that has up to five different massage modes available, while the PowerFold third-row seat and E-Z Entry second-row seats in the rear can be easily moved out of the way to accommodate passengers and cargo.

5. Active Park Assist 2.0

When you come across a parking space that you’re having trouble maneuvering into, the Explorer’s Active Park Assist 2.0 feature can simplify this process for you. All you have to do is indicate where you’d like to park, and this system will then do the rest for you by controlling steering, movement, and braking, and it can do this in parallel and perpendicular parking scenarios as well.

Although the performance, tech, and comfort features covered here are all noteworthy, they’re merely a preview of all the 2023 Explorer’s many impressive offerings. To see everything else it has to offer from up close, call us or stop in today to take it for a test drive at Geweke Ford.

The transmission in your Ford is a vital part of its operating system. It should last you a long while, however, as with any part, wear and tear may mean you need to replace it at some point. It’s important to know the signs that you need to head to your Ford dealer for a transmission repair. The sooner you get this important part replaced, the less likely you’ll have further — more costly — issues.

1. Your Vehicle Has Issues Switching Gears

If you notice your car is struggling to change gears, you’re likely looking at an issue with your transmission. This can be more noticeable if you’re driving a standard transmission, but can also be felt in an automatic. Sometimes this can be fixed by changing your transmission fluid, but check with your mechanic before any further issues occur.

2. Your Vehicle Makes Strange Noises

If your vehicle is making any new noises, especially if you’re sitting in neutral, or when the gears are changing, this could indicate your transmission needs attention. Again, it could simply mean a transmission fluid flush is needed, but you’ll want to get it checked as soon as possible

3. Your Vehicle’s Check Engine Is On

Even though the light says to check the engine, it could signify an issue with other important parts of your vehicle. Issues with the transmission can cause the engine to struggle, which may trigger the light to come on. It’s important to visit a mechanic quickly to get them to read the code with their special tool to find out the issue.

4. Your Vehicle Puts Out a Strange Smell

If you notice a burning smell coming from your vehicle, you need to get this checked immediately. This can indicate the transmission fluid is too old and is burning off, or it could be the transmission itself struggling. Either way, this can quickly lead to further issues, which can be harder to fix.

5. Your Vehicle Is Leaking Fluid

Every so often, take a look underneath where you park your vehicle. If you see red fluid, chances are this is your transmission fluid leaking out. Take your car in to get fixed as soon as possible before your transmission starts to struggle from lack of fluid.

6. Your Ford Dealer Lets You Know

If you’re taking your car in for regular maintenance, your mechanic will let you know if your transmission needs any repairs. Luckily, with regular maintenance, it can usually be caught before it creates more damage.

Combining standard four-wheel drive with luxury comforts isn’t easily accomplished, yet the 2023 Ford Bronco somehow does so effortlessly. Inside and outside this SUV, you’ll find cutting-edge technology that entertains while keeping you safe, and under the hood are any one of three powerful engines that easily push the Bronco through rugged trails with ease.

Performance

Among the 2023 Bronco’s impressive engine options is a 418-horsepower 3.0-liter V6, though if that’s too much power for you, there’s also the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that generates 330 horses, as well as a 300-horsepower 2.3-liter four-cylinder.

When leaving the pavement, the vehicle’s standard four-wheel drive and rugged H.O.S.S. suspension system make it easy to tackle tough terrains, though there’s also a standard terrain management system called G.O.A.T. modes for times when you need a bit more responsiveness and traction.

Design

The interior of this edition is an impressive one that offers plenty of different seating fabric options, including moisture-resistant marine-grade vinyl, cloth, and leather trim, as well as multiple color schemes, like Dark Space Gray, Black Onyx, Navy Pier, and in the special edition Heritage and Heritage Limited models, a retro plaid design.

You can also choose between a two- or four-door model, and if you go with the four-door design, you can detach and store all four doors in the cargo area of the vehicle for more immersive drives through nature.

Technology

Calling contacts from your smartphone with your hands still on the wheel, tuning into SiriusXM satellite radio channels, or getting turn-by-turn navigation instructions are all possible with the Bronco’s SYNC 4 infotainment system. Connecting to the Internet is easy as well with the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and once your smartphone’s battery needs to recharge, You can simply place it on the wireless charging pad.

To help you maneuver in and out of tight spaces while driving off-road, Trail Turn Assist reduces the vehicle’s turning radius, and if you pair it with the Off-Road Hero Switches, you can activate it and many other off-road features with the push of a button on your dashboard.

Safety

This edition’s safety features for sure to amaze, like Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. These two features can help you avoid collisions by notifying you when you’re at risk of one and stopping the vehicle if you can’t respond quickly enough.

If you’ve ever forgotten to turn your high beams off while approaching vehicles driving in the opposite direction, you’ll love the Auto High-Beam Headlamps, which can automatically do this for you when lighting changes are detected.

With its strong performance, stylish cabin, and a wide array of off-road-ready features, this SUV is ready for whatever adventures or road trips you have in mind. Come test-drive the 2023 Bronco by reaching out to us today at Geweke Ford, and we’ll look forward to seeing you when you get here.
